Something out of Something... how can we use creativity and innovation to improve our relationship with our planet? The long journey towards Art for Impact's sixth event concluded with one extraordinary evening.
more about 'something out of something'
Our beneficiary, Long Way Home, which spearheads sustainable community development in Guatemala, inspired us to create an environmentally-themed, eco-friendly event. All of our dedicated performers thrilled an the audience with their diverse and conscientious pieces. Adding to that, we were inspired to imagine new ways of integrating the sustainability theme into the event itself: hand-designing programs on reclaimed materials, using recycled plastic materials to create an interactive message board, making raffle tickets out of old playing cards, and the like.
